Whenever I introduce GiAPA to someone for the first time, I usually start by telling them what it does.
But sometimes, what a tool doesn’t do is just as important.
So let’s be clear.
We don’t touch your business data. GiAPA monitors performance – not transactions. It analyzes jobs, CPU, SQL, and I/O activity, but it never reads the actual content of your database files or programs.
That means your customer records, financial data, and documents remain untouched and unseen.
The data GiAPA collects is passive. It doesn’t interrupt processes, delay jobs, or inject anything into running code.
You can install and run GiAPA without fear of causing downtime or side effects.
Everything stays local.
By default, all reports and logs are stored on your own system. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud, no data is shared externally, and no external internet connection is required.
Of course, you can export reports if you want – but only you decide what leaves the system.
Because trust is earned.
Especially in performance monitoring, where the line between “useful” and “invasive” can be thin.
I built GiAPA with one clear principle in mind:
Give deep insight without ever crossing that line.
And we stick to it.
In short: GiAPA does what you need – and stays out of what you don’t.
